Why Church Matters - Revisited

At the beginning of 2018, Pastor Matt preached a 2-week series entitled Why Church Matters. We took a look at the early church in Acts 1 & 2. The believers gathered together to open God’s Word, to join in fellowship, to break bread, and to pray. These 4 core habits helped define and shape the early church and have been staple practices over the centuries. But, underneath these core habits lie more fundamental truths and attitudes that have also helped shape the church through the years. In this 2 week series, we will return to the book of Acts and revisit this question of why church matters…and why it matters here in Peoria, IL.
