Rediscovering Christmas
December 2019
Christmas is a time for telling familiar stories and sharing in family traditions. Behind the familiar story of the nativity, there is a message of hope and salvation for all people. In this Christmas series at Peoria Nazarene Church, we will seek to rediscover and unwrap the true meaning of Christmas by exploring the story of the birth of Christ.
Week 1 (12/1) – Light for the Darkness (Isaiah 9:2, 5-7)
Week 2 (12/8) – Good News for Everyone (Matthew 1:1-17)
Week 3 (12/15) – Comfort in Suffering (Matthew 1:18-23)

Christmas Eve (12/24) – Behold the Lamb of God (Luke 2:8-20)
Week 5 (12/29) – The Christmas Effect (Luke 2:33-35)
The Christmas season provides us with an opportunity to slow down and more intentionally spend time in personal and family time with God. Please take time to consider purchasing a resource to help you unwrap together the true meaning of Christmas. The following are some resources recommend for you.
