God Always Wins
God Always Wins is a new Sunday Morning program at Peoria Nazarene Church for children in 1st to 6th grade starting June 13th during the Sunday morning worship service. Originally a Backyard Club/VBS, this summer we will be implementing God Always Wins as a once-a-week VBS on Sunday Mornings.
Kids will sing praises to God with their parents during the worship service and then be dismissed to the children’s ministry area for God Always Wins with Pastor Shawn Link and our children’s ministry team.
God Always Wins values teaching children God-Centered, Bible-Saturated, and Gospel-Focused messages in a fun and safe environment. In God Always Wins, children will learn that God is all powerful and can be trusted in their lives by seeing his greatness and trustworthiness in the stories of the Bible. Children will learn that the God of the Bible always wins his battles, and they can experience his power in their lives over Satan, sin, and death. Our prayer is that children will learn from God Always Wins that “overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us” (Romans 8:37). If you are interested in volunteering for God Always Wins, we are welcoming parents, grandparents, or anyone who has a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and senses God’s Spirit prompting them to help with God Always Wins. All volunteers are required to complete a background check, screening, and training. We are committed to providing a safe and fun environment for all kids to learn to follow Jesus.
