DESCRIPTION:Kids are invited to participate in the Kid’s Christmas Sing Along during the service on December 19th\, 2021 and to listen to the reading of the Christmas story. Children who are 3 years of age to 3rd grade will be doing the Kid’s Christmas Sing Along and children who are in 4th grade to 6th grade will be passing out a treat at the end of the service that the children all worked together on. If you are interested in having your child participate in the Sing Along\,  we are asking families to come 30 minutes early on Sunday December 19th to practice the Sing Along and gain further instruction on passing out the treats at the end of the service (meet in room 200). We need as many hands as possible to help us fill this Dumpster! \n \nThere are other ways you can help too! \nIt would be awesome if our church family could show our appreciation for the workers by treating then to breakfast on Saturday morning. DESCRIPTION:Great time for our teens!\nGreat Oaks Campground\nAugust 14\, 2021\n11 AM – 5 PM\n\nWhat to expect:\n\n\nWe are excited for you to join us for our fourth and final Pop-Up camp at Great Oaks Camp in Lacon\, IL from 11 AM-5PM on Saturday\, August 14th. This final event cost $10 per person for Peoria Nazarene Family and $50 per person for guests and will include lunch. There is a wide “camp-like” variety of things to do throughout the day. You will be able to swim\, canoe or paddle boat\, use the blob\, play frisbee golf\, Gaga ball\, 9-square\, climb high ropes courses\, zip down zip-lines\, and even play paintball if you choose. Some of these activities require students to sign up ahead of time through our online registration. This all day event will give our teenagers one last day to connect and have fun together before school starts. Please remember to have students bring a modest swimsuit\, sunscreen\, and towel with them if they plan to do any water activities. We will be sharing the exciting vision that we believe God is giving us to begin a building project that will prepare us for this next season of ministry at Peoria Nazarene Church! \nFor 46 years\, we have been blessed to gather in our facility to worship Christ together and connect people to God’s love. This has been possible because of the leadership of Pastor James Hazelwood in the 1970’s and the commitment the church board and family to follow God in faith to prepare the church for ministry. So many lives have been changed by God’s love since that time. Now we have an opportunity to step forward in faith and update our building to better facilitate the accomplishment of our mission for years to come. \nWe are an intergenerational church family that wants to connect EVERYONE to God’s love. We are excited to share with you about how we are connecting generations in this project. \nWe are excited to share this vision with you as the whole church gathers together to prayerfully consider the needs and opportunities of our building to make it more conducive for relationships and ministry! \nJoin us in person or online at 10:30 AM (Facebook and Youtube).

DESCRIPTION:We invite you to Join us for our weekly worship gathering at 10:30 AM. This week is Memorial Day Weekend. Memorial Day is a time that we remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for us. We also take time to be with family. \nOur church family will take time to give thanks for those who have sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy. We also will take special time in our service to remember those members we have lost and heaven has gained this past year. This is always a meaningful time for us. \nPastor Mark will be sharing a message from the series\, “The Heart of Our Church.” We are praying that God will give us a fresh calling and commitment to the mission that He has given us. He has uniquely brought us together with a collective heartbeat. We value Community\, Authenticity\, Relationships\, and Empathy.
