DESCRIPTION:Great time for our teens!\nGreat Oaks Campground\nAugust 14\, 2021\n11 AM – 5 PM\n\nWhat to expect:\n\n\nWe are excited for you to join us for our fourth and final Pop-Up camp at Great Oaks Camp in Lacon\, IL from 11 AM-5PM on Saturday\, August 14th. This final event cost $10 per person for Peoria Nazarene Family and $50 per person for guests and will include lunch. There is a wide “camp-like” variety of things to do throughout the day. You will be able to swim\, canoe or paddle boat\, use the blob\, play frisbee golf\, Gaga ball\, 9-square\, climb high ropes courses\, zip down zip-lines\, and even play paintball if you choose. Some of these activities require students to sign up ahead of time through our online registration. This all day event will give our teenagers one last day to connect and have fun together before school starts. Please remember to have students bring a modest swimsuit\, sunscreen\, and towel with them if they plan to do any water activities. Our goal is to raise $600\,000 in addition to a loan to be secured by the church. So many lives have been changed by God’s love since that time. DESCRIPTION:Spring Through the Scriptures is a new mid-week program at Peoria Nazarene Church for children. Each week while Pastor Mark will be leading “Breaking Bread Together” Pastor Shawn and the Children’s Ministry Team will be leading Spring Through the Scriptures. \nParents when you arrive check in your kids at the Welcome Center. Kids will eat in the Sanctuary with their families and then be dismissed to the Children’s Ministry Area for Spring Through the Scriptures with Pastor Shawn and our Children’s Ministry Team. \nSpring Through the Scriptures values teaching children the Christian faith\, how to pray\, and how to read God’s Word in a fun and safe environment. With so many things in this world competing for our children’s attention we long to see our children love God and love his Word. Spring Through the Scriptures seeks to participate in God’s work of redemption in our children’s lives in hope that by God’s grace their hearts will see and be overcome by the glorious truth of Jesus Christ! If you are interested in signing your children up for Spring Through the Scriptures\, you can do so HERE. \nIf you are interested in volunteering for Spring through the Scriptures\, we are welcoming parents\, grandparents\, or anyone who has a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and senses God’s Spirit prompting them to help with Spring Through the Scriptures to sign up to serve at least two Wednesday evenings. These two evenings of serving will give parents and grandparents glimpses of Spring through the Scriptures\, what their children are learning\, and will be helpful to their role as the primary disciple makers of their children. If interested in signing up to volunteer for Spring Through the Scriptures\, you can do so HERE. \nAll volunteers are required to complete a background check\, screening\, and training. We are committed to providing a safe and fun environment for all kids to learn to follow Jesus.

Each week while Pastor Mark will be leading “Breaking Bread Together” Pastor Shawn and the Children’s Ministry Team will be leading Spring Through the Scriptures. \nParents when you arrive check in your kids at the Welcome Center. Kids will eat in the Sanctuary with their families and then be dismissed to the Children’s Ministry Area for Spring Through the Scriptures with Pastor Shawn and our Children’s Ministry Team. \nSpring Through the Scriptures values teaching children the Christian faith\, how to pray\, and how to read God’s Word in a fun and safe environment. With so many things in this world competing for our children’s attention we long to see our children love God and love his Word. Spring Through the Scriptures seeks to participate in God’s work of redemption in our children’s lives in hope that by God’s grace their hearts will see and be overcome by the glorious truth of Jesus Christ! If you are interested in signing your children up for Spring Through the Scriptures\, you can do so HERE. \nIf you are interested in volunteering for Spring through the Scriptures\, we are welcoming parents\, grandparents\, or anyone who has a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and senses God’s Spirit prompting them to help with Spring Through the Scriptures to sign up to serve at least two Wednesday evenings. These two evenings of serving will give parents and grandparents glimpses of Spring through the Scriptures\, what their children are learning\, and will be helpful to their role as the primary disciple makers of their children. If interested in signing up to volunteer for Spring Through the Scriptures\, you can do so HERE. \nAll volunteers are required to complete a background check\, screening\, and training. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Easter at Peoria Nazarene Church! \nThere will be two worship gatherings to celebrate the Risen Jesus and the hope He brings all people. Worship with us in person at 8:30 or 10:30 AM. Coffee and Donuts will be provided. The service will also be live-streamed at 10:30 AM online on YouTube and Facebook.. \nFollowing the 10:30 AM Worship service there will be an EASTER EGG HUNT for kids from birth through 6 Grade in the grass lot adjacent to the church. There will be two areas for early childhood and elementary. \nPeoria Nazarene Church is a loving intergenerational community that is committed to connecting people to God’s love and God’s family. DESCRIPTION:Take time to reflect upon the sufferings and death of Christ. In the silence and in the darkness of Good Friday\, we can see the presence of God in our sufferings. Christ suffered once for all\, for our salvation and complete restoration. This service feels a little different than our normal worship gatherings\, but makes our Easter worship so much more meaningful.
